Irish
We are the only club outside the Gaeltacht in Ireland that offers camogie, hurling and football through Irish. We give people of all ages the opportunity to learn, practice and speak the language on a regular basis.
Countless people have started playing with Na Gaeil Óga with only a few words and reached fluency within a short time.

Supporting the Gaelscoil journey
We work closely with education experts to ensure that our approach supports the learning of children enrolled in Irish medium education.
Children who play sport through Irish are at a great advantage. The experience greatly enhances your child's fluency and normalizes the use of Irish outside of the classroom.
With the extra practice, their confidence in the language grows. It is an opportunity to help your child reach their full potential.

Growth Oriented
There are many clubs in Dublin who believe that if you start with hundreds of players you will end up with a good team. It doesn't matter if you lose most of your players along the way.
Na Gaeil Óga believes in the ability of every child. We create a friendly and supportive environment that helps children nurture a lifelong love of both the sport and language.
We see it as our duty to help your child's development on and off the field. Success for us means nurturing generation after generation of young leaders with a love sport and community and equipping them with the skills they need to reach their full potential as an individual.

As with the likes of Ballyhale Shamrocks and Slaughtneil, it doesn't really matter how many children you have when they are young. It doesn't matter what they win on the way up. If you create the right environment they will keep playing and succeed both on and off the field.
